I have been writing songs since I was 12 years old. I’ve written hundreds of songs over the years. When my two children were born in the mid-eighties I began to write songs for children and families. Since then many songs and poems have been written. I’ve also teamed up with Gary Q to write songs for the Facts & Fun series of educational and entertaining CDs. I have also teamed up with Deb Solberg to write songs and compose music for the children’s plays that she creates with her theatre group. The group is called Theatrix. We have written music together for over a dozen children’s plays over the years.

Mr. I & Gary Q

Gary and I have been writing songs together now for many years. We have our own studio where we can record top quality music. We use Pro Tools for recording along with a keyboard to create any sound possible. We are also skilled players on several different instruments.

Gary Q is a drummer and a wonderful singer. He is from England, spending his teen years and early twenties performing with many different bands in England. Some his bandmates went on to become professional musicians in other bands. Of particular note were two fellows who eventually went on to become part of THE MOODY BLUES. Now, Gary performs with two bands: 1066; a British Isles folk band: and with DECEPTION, a funky blues band. Gary is very talented, with loads of wit and charm that is reflected in the 'FACTS & FUN' CDs that we produce, and with the songs for THEATRIX that we have done. Mr. I has been writing songs ever since he got his first guitar at age nine and saw the Beatles on television. He also went on to learn the flute and saxophone, along with recorders and whistles and such. He also plays the Native Cedar Flute and the Didgereedoo. Through his teen years and early twenties he wrote many songs in the folk and pop styles. He went on to study music at College and University and became proficient in classical music and many other styles as well. He has performed in many pop bands as vocalist and lead guitarist, in classical groups as a fluatist and on classical guitar, and now performs shows for children and families with the Rainbow Singers.

Gary and Mr. I have also written songs for adults. They are all about peace and things people can do to make a better world. We are available as a songwriting team for any project that may come up.
